The 2017 Trent Trot 5K and 1-Miler are named in memory of Trent McElroy, a Roberts 4th grader who lost his battle to childhood cancer in the Fall of 2013. All proceeds go to the Trent's Touch Foundation to support local families who are living with childhood cancer.
Both races are chip-timed events. Competitors and participants of all abilities will run/walk on a certified out-and-back course starting and ending at Roberts Elementary School.The 5K race will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the course goes down Pimilco Drive into the scenic Dublin Downs neighborhood in NE Tallahassee. The 1-Miler is run on the school property beginning at 9:30 a.m.
Early packet pick-up will be on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at 4 Rivers Smokehouse BBQ on Thomasville Rd., and on Thursday, January 26, 2017 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Bannerman Crossing Capital City Runners.
Raceday onsite registration and late pickup will be in the school cafeteria beginning at 7:30 a.m., Saturday, January 28, 2017.

Team Trent is the volunteer group of Roberts Elementary School staff who have been raising money for cancer charities for the past eight years.
