Get some incredible exercise while taking in views of the South Bay! Join POST for a challenging trek through the heart of Sierra Azul Open Space Preserve, just south of Los Gatos and east of Lexington Reservoir.
This hike is not for the faint of heart, with options to complete an 8-mile out-and-back or 13.6 mile loop! We will start at the Kennedy-Limekiln trailhead and hike up to the Priest Rock trailhead, a total of 4 miles and 2,000 feet of elevation gain. There, we will take a break and give guests the opportunity to turn back before continuing onto the rolling hills of the Priest Rock and Limekiln trails, which adds an additional 9.6 miles and 1,000 feet of elevation gain.
The fall and winter can be the best time to see this remote area, which gets incredibly hot in the summer months. Space is very limited due to parking, so sign up today – we will share more details about our meet up location in a confirmation email.
