Overview

Join a ranger to learn the tips and tricks to identify trees in winter around the lovely setting of Linlithgow Peel and Loch.

Time: 13:00 -14:30

Age: This walk may not be suitable for children under 12 years.

Meeting point: Linlithgow Palace entrance

Grade: Moderate

Route: A circular route around Linlithgow Peel.

Bring: Warm, waterproof clothing and sturdy footwear with good grips. A snack and a drink.

Toilets: Available before or after the event in the Burgh Halls. No toilets on the walk itself.

Parking: Limited space at Palace Car Park. Parking available nearby at Vennel Car Park.

Disabled access: This route does involve some rough tracks and slopes. Please contact the Ranger Service on 0131 652 8150 or rangers@hes.scot if you have any access requirements and we will do our best to adapt the walk accordingly.

Dogs: Dogs are not permitted except assistance dogs.
