Tree planting at Boyce Thompson Arboretum

Registration required to manage capacity and tools.
Join Wild Arizona as we work with the Boyce Thompson Arboretum to plant 100+ native trees and shrubs along the beautiful Queen Creek.

What to expect:
We will meet at 8:00 AM and after a brief safety meeting, we will gather the necessary tools and hike into the worksite. Work for the day will include hole digging, plant transportin, and transplanting. We will plan to end our work day at 3:00 PM.
Long-sleeve shirt, long pants, sunglasses/safety glasses, and closed toe shoes are mandatory to participate in volunteer work. Wild Arizona will provide the necessary tools and guidance to ensure a successful day.
Volunteers need to bring:
1. Water bottles or hydration pack (3 liter per day capacity minimum for the work day)
2. Food for the event (lunch for the day, snacks)
3. Appropriate clothing for temps
4. Trail shoes or hiking boots
5. A pack
Wild Arizona will bring:
1. All necessary tools
2. Protective equipment (hardhats, gloves, and eyewear)
