Travis College Hill is the first Garland site ever listed on the prestigious National Register, which is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Interior in cooperation with the National Park Service. Tickets for the home tour are $10 for adults and $5 for chidren ages 3 to 12. Proceeds are divided evenly between four non-profit organizations: Running for Clean Water, the Friedreich's Ataxia Research Alliance, Garland Area Habitat for Humanity, and Friends of Garland's Historic Magic 11th Street.
