Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR) Expanded Applications Workshop
Consolidates and expands knowledge and skills gained in the first TIR workshop.
Introduces many additional techniques to address a wider variety of client circumstances:
disturbances (upsets, problems, and withheld communications)
grief from loss of a loved one or loss of a relationship
fragile or low ego-strength
Allows the practitioner to develop more varied and interesting case plans to address a greater variety of client issues.
Increases practitioner skills by providing co-facilitation opportunities, within the workshop, for delivering TIR and numerous expanded applications.
Provides an opportunity to network with other TIR facilitators.
Prerequisites: TIR Workshop
Price includes: 13% HST, workshop instruction and materials. Please note that the $850 rate currently advertised is for Early Bird Registration and available only until September 22nd, 2017. After that date, the rate will increase to $950 for Standard Registration should workshop spots still remain available.
Continuing education: Credit hours granted by Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA), Canadian Professional Counsellors Association (CPCA), Canadian Addiction Counsellors Certification Federation (CACCF), and Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists and Psychotherapists (OACCPP).

Refund Policy: If you choose to cancel your registration you will be given a full refund less a $75 processing fee up to 14 days before the start date of the workshop. Participants wishing to cancel their registration after this time waive the right to a refund, but may be issued a credit toward a future workshop date at the discretion of the workshop trainer (not guaranteed).
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
The cost of parking is not included in the workshop fee. Parking is available in an Impark lot in front of the building at a cost of $11 per day on weekdays, and $3 per day on weekends (subject to change without notice). Free street parking may be available on weekends in the surrounding residential areas but participants are advised to park on the street at their own risk.
