Event description
Resources and tools for educators shifting to hybrid and in-person learning

About this event

Join us online Tuesday, May 18, 4 - 6pm.
The isolation, chronic unpredictability, and physical and emotional distance caused by the pandemic over the past year have had traumatic impacts on children. As schools shift to in-person or hybrid learning, we have heard the need for trauma-responsive tools and resources for creating a feeling of safety and rebuilding classroom community for students.
During this interactive workshop, you will -
- Gain specific tools and strategies to invite student contribution, build community, develop routines, and maintain self-regulation during the transition back to hybrid and in-person learning.
- Share ideas, experiences and build community with other educators to help support your work at this transitional time.
- Explore basic brain science to inform trauma-responsive practices.
If you are interested in this workshop, but that date does not work for you, please let us know by sending an email to info@sounddiscipline.org.
We will send email from sounddiscipline.org and Eventbrite .com with additional information about this workshop. After registering, you should receive a confirmation email (check your junk and spam folders). If you don't receive it within 48 hours, please email info@sounddiscipline.org.
