About this event

Yoga is an evidence based discipline, using philosophies and practices to help restore balance and well-being to our whole selves.

Each class of this series will include guided visualization/meditation, trauma-informed mindfulness education, breathing practices and gentle and restorative yoga postures. There will be an opportunity to ask questions and/or share with the group at the end of class.

No previous yoga experience necessary!

The following are some potential benefits of trauma-informed yoga classes:

  • Improving your capacity to feel, set, and maintain boundaries.
  • Feeling the connection with others who are survivors of abuse, assault, or other trauma

***This series will be a closed group after the first session****

Suggested donation: $75 - $180 for the series (w/ option to make payments).

A portion of the proceeds will go to Survivors Healing Center.
