Trauma Informed Oregon Gathering
We're taking Trauma Informed Oregon on the road to Eastern Oregon to meet with interested organizations, agencies, individuals, and partners around the state. At this event, we will provide information about what we're doing, what's going on in trauma informed services in state, regional, and local communities, provide you an opportunity to have input into our work going forward and offer information about the biological and relational healing that can result from sharing stories about trauma.

What to expect: Hear about Trauma Informed Oregon's statewide collaborative to build awareness, promote prevention, and support resilience. Learn about the biological and relational effects of sharing stories about adverse life events, inclduing the healing potentials. Share your efforts and ideas to address the effects of trauma in your community.
This free event is made possible by the Oregon Health Authority (OHA), Addictions and Mental Health Division (AMH) contract with Portland State University (PSU) in partnership with Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) and the Oregon Pediatric Society.
Am I signed up for the training in the evening on June 18th or the afternoon training on June 19th if I sign up for this event?

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
We have a limited # of spots available and may have a waitlist, so tickets will not be transferrable.
What are my transport/parking options once I get to the Forum?
There is free parking at the Wildhorse resort where the event will be located.

Will there be food?
Yes, we will be offering a deluxe continental breakfast in the morning with coffee/tea, boxed lunch and snacks in the afternoon.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
It is not necessary to have a printed ticket. We will have a list of all registered participants' names at the door when you check in.
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
Name tags will be created for all participants so please make sure the name on the registration is the one you would like on your name tag.
Is the event site accessible?
Yes, it is but please contact Wildhorse Resort for more information.
Who should attend?
Anyone with an interest in trauma informed care. In past gatherings, we have had attendees from healthcare, education, justice and juvenile systems, addictions and mental health, child welfare, housing, people with lived experience, youth, parents, administrators, counselors, and social workers.

Trauma Informed Oregon is a statewide collaborative aimed at preventing and ameliorating the impact of adverse experiences on children, adults and families. Trauma Informed Oregon works in partnership with providers, individuals with lived experience, and families to promote and sustain trauma informed policies and practices across physical, mental, and behavioral health systems and to disseminate promising strategies to support wellness and resilience.
