About this Event

Please join educator and trainer Alex Shevrin Venet for an evening of continued exploration of Trauma-Informed Mentoring through the lens of Hope, Clarity and Empathy. The evening will include but not be limited to the following topics:

• Trauma and Its Impact

• Helping Young People Authentically Develop Their Own Hopes

• Role Clarity in Mentoring,

• Empathy as the Default Stance for All Interactions

• Unconditional Positive Regard

This talk continues the dialogue Ms. Shevrin Venet offered in the 2018-2019 school year. Participants are welcome even if they were not in attendance at the October 2018 event.
