Ryan W. Daven, MSW, LCSW, CADCII
Clinical Program Director
Ryan Daven is an LCSW, CADCII who spent a majority of his career in administrative roles of Crisis Outreach and Mental Health/Addiction Services. After earning an MSW from the University of Washington in Addiction and Mental Health counseling, he worked in the field of co-occurring disorders: Mobile Crisis Team Clinician, Clinical Supervisor at the Crisis Diversion Facility/Crisis Diversion Interim Services Programs, and developed programming for a medical detoxification facility for those with comorbid conditions. Currently, he is the clinical program director of medical detoxification, residential treatment, and rapid access in Douglas County.
Objectives:
*Understand and Identify the universal impacts of trauma
*Develop an appreciation for the biopsychosocial impacts of:
a) Trauma
b) the introduction of coping skills gone awry
*Identify and apply verbal and non-verbal skills to address anger and escalation through a trauma-informed lens
