PLEASE NOTE: This training is for Opportunity Council employees ONLY!
In general in human dynamics, but certainly in the work the OC does, individuals bring to “situations” the remnants of traumas experienced prior to seeking our help. Workers, too, can filter interactions through their own traumas of the past or present. How should being trauma-informed shape our approaches to customer service in general? What are its implications for conflictive or escalated situations? How do we increase the odds for physical and emotional safety for all and “find out calm” in the face of the many human challenges before us every day? This experiential workshop will give us the tools and insights.
