The trainings will still be held today, starting at the listed times.
The National Center for Trauma Informed Care (NCTIC) will offer an informational training on Trauma-Informed Approaches in community settings. Speakers will include experts on trauma-informed approaches, as well as residents/professionals who have employed trauma-informed approaches in the
Baltimore, MD community.
Attendees will have an opportunity to engage with the NCTIC speakers as well. The free training is being sponsored by SAMHSA NCTIC. We ask participants to attend either the Morning or Evening session on Thursday, January 12th, and the Roundtable Strategic Planning Session the next day.
Key questions to be addresses at training:
- What are trauma informed approaches?
- How can my organization do this?
- Is this only about clinical care?
- What about smaller community organizations?
☑ Thursday, January 12th - Morning Session: 9:00 AM to Noon
☑ Thursday, January 12th - Evening Session: 5:30 to 8:30 PM. Dinner will be provided
☑ Friday, January 13th - Roundtable Strategic Planning Session: 10:00 to 11:30 AM
