    Is there a fee for parking?

    Parking is free on the weekends and there should be no fee.

    I'm traveling from out of town, are there any hotel accomodations?

    AKOTA has a discounted block of rooms reserved at the Marriott Springhill Suites in Midtown. go through AKOTA.org on the calendar page there is a link to reserve. Make sure you make your reservation by 9/11/2025!

    Will there be food at the conference?

    Light breakfast, snacks, and lunch will be served. Some beverage options will be available, but water bottles are encouraged to stay hydrated during the event.

    I have dietary restrictions, can you accomodate?

    We will reach out to all attendees about dietary restrictions; our caterer should be able to accommodate with advanced notice.

    Will I need to bring anything?

    You will be provided with a therapy ball trio ($35 value) to use during the workshop and for clinical use following conference. We ask you bring a yoga mat to utilize during conference, please advise if you do not have one available (we will have limited supplies to borrow at the event).

    8:30 am- 4:30 pm October 11th and 12th

    How many CEUS can I earn?

    The Alaska Occupational Therapy Association (AKOTA) has approved 13 CEUs for full attendance at the conference for any OT or OTA. All other professionals should check with their respective state organization for CEU approvals.
