Description

With support from the Hancock County ADAMHS Board, The Social Work Program at The University of Findlay is excited to announce an all-day Trauma and Addiction conference to be held at Winebrenner Seminary at the University. The keynote speaker is Dr. Jamie Marich, author of 5 books including "EMDR Made Simple" and "Trauma and the Twelve Steps". Dr. Marich is an accomplished clinician who now travels the country providing continuing education as well as works in her private practice. Dr Marich was a founder of The Institute for Creative Mindfulness, an educational institution that offers training in the areas of mental health, trauma, addiction, mindfulness, and clinician development. Dr. Marich will also host a community event the evening of the conference.
