In this collaboration with Material For the Arts, students will explore exciting techniques to rethink and redesign waste glass and other recyclables into new, up-cycled possibilities! One day will be spent at Materials for the Arts, gathering supplies for projects. Students will transform salvaged materials into layered imagery, sculpture, functional objects, and stop motion animation shorts. Participants will leave this class empowered to head home and recraft their own recycling bins! Open to ages 11 and up.
