Description

TRAPPED: A Virtual Reality Detective Story

Billy Joe Cain started making games for the SNES in 1992 and has been building interactive games, simulations, and educational products ever since. He now creates immersive experiences for cutting-edge virtual reality systems to teach children the skills they need to survive in today's world.

Billy Joe Cain founded the Radical Empathy Foundation (REEF), to generate interactive products that open people's mind to the scourge of human trafficking with a focus on sex trafficking. REEF's mission is to help children identify and avoid unhealthy situations that may ultimately lead to becoming victims of sex trafficking. Their child safety program, One Generation, integrates in-class materials with a narrative VR experience to help children prevent this happening to them or someone they know. The educational application, TRAPPED: A VR Detective Story, which teaches the dangers and warning signs of human trafficking, is now available on WEARVR.

Learn more about the VR-program and foundation on October 24th, 2018, when Billy Joe Cain presents at the IncubatorCTX as a part of their speaker-series. Make sure to donate to REEF and help educate the world about the truths of human trafficking.
