Trapitol Hill ★2014★

Trapitol Hill is an edm dance party like you have never seen before. Starting with the venue, an old church recently revitalized by art whino gallery through dozens of murals completely covering the entire interior and exterior walls and ceiling. It is truly a wonder to behold. There will also be world class djs from Mad decent and Fools gold. 2014's party will feature ETC! ETC! and High Klassified, as well as local support from your favorite DJ RaceCarBed and many others. There will be tremendous art installations from the art whino collection.There will be live art demonstrations from some of the area's top street artists, including a fresh coat of paint for the one love massive bus. Trapitol hill is the kind of party that makes other parties look bad.

The venue was designed and built in the early 1900s by James A. Boyce at the site of the old Friendship Baptist Church; it was designated as a D.C. historic site in 2004. For over 20 years, after the congregation found a new home one block over, the venue remained vacant. In 2013, Art Whino commissioned Atlanta based artist HENSE to produce a full building mural wrap around the entire perimeter of the venue; truly a one of a kind visual! Additionally, they produced a full mural wrap on the inside performance area; curated by Australian based artist House of Meggs. Blind whino is surely one of the most exciting venues in the district of columbia, if not the entire country.
