TransWorld SNOWboarding is proud to announce its sixth feature film, Insight. Our aim is to shed a little light on the riders in this project, not only because of their immense skills on a board, but also because they each have a unique story to tell. The RK1 crew made up of Stale Sandbech, Len Jorgensen, and Alek Oestreng came from humble beginnings, riding together as childhood friends in their hometown of Rykkinn, Norway. Now they are arguably the world’s most recognizable crew, putting out web videos with hundreds of thousands of views, traveling the world to compete, and still remaining true to their roots. We’ll visit Outlaw park, the birthplace of today’s modern terrain parks, which started in back in 1991 at Bear Mountain. There will hammers logged in the streets of Finland with Toni Kerkelä, a split boarding mission in search of natural windlips across Oregon with Josh Dirksen, a backyard park session with Red Gerard, and much, much more. Insight brings together the riders, crews, and places shaping snowboarding, all with their own unique stories to tell.
About Plant A Seed:
The A-Rob Plant a Seed Project is a non-profit organization to help underprivileged children enjoy the wind in their face and powder beneath their feet. My late son, Aaron Robinson, A-Rob, had many dreams and one of which was for everyone to enjoy the sport, the mountains, the outdoors and life.
