Event description

Description

Please join HuffPost and The Sacramento Bee, in partnership with the Sacramento Public Library, for this conversation about transparency, accountability and how the community can continue to move forward six months after the Stephon Clark shooting. Doors will open at the Central Library location at 5:30 p.m. and the event will begin at 6 p.m. The program will run 90 minutes.

The conversation will be moderated by Sacramento Bee editorial board member and columnist Erika Smith and will feature panelists including Sacramento Police Chief Daniel Hahn; Assemblymember Kevin McCarty; Women for Equality founder Anita Ross; and Francine Tournour, Director of the Office of Public Safety Accountability for the City of Sacramento.

The event is part of HuffPost's "Listen to America" RV tour — a two-week journey through five Western states to talk about issues affecting communities in California, Nevada, Idaho, Arizona and Colorado. Learn more about the tour and what's happening on the route.
