When & Where
Danielle Carrington has had a passion for the hair industry for most of her life. She has been licensed for more than seven years. In that time she has mastered a wide range of hair techniques including color, cutting, and becoming a certified Ouidad stylist, specializing in the infamous Ouidad "Rake and Shake" and the "carve and slice" technique. These tools have given her the opportunity to meet the needs of her multicultural clientel. Dealing with hair in its different forms can become challenging, however for Danielle it is seen as a clean canvas to create something completely artistic
Danielle believes in continual education and strives to stay at the forefront of her field. Having the opportunity to be a platform guest for a well know product line, allowed her to find her passion to become an educator. Being a product of a Cosmetology curriculum, Danielle realized the lack of information on "Natural Hair". Having one chapter on braiding was not enough for her. Natural Genesis, a natural hair education organization, is a way to bring the fundamental of natural hair to the cosmetology curriculum. All stylist should receive the proper information on how to care for all hair textures.
Danielle desires to use her skills and knowledge to help further the cosmetology education system. Her motto is "Whatsoever your hands find to do, do it with all your might"
