The Autism Society of NC in collaboration with ECAC (Exceptional Children' s Assistance Center) invites parents and professional to this free workshop in Spanish on transitioning to adulthood. 

Topics:

  • What IDEA says about the transition to adulthood
  • Graduation requirements from high school: two courses of study that lead to a diploma
  • What you and your child can do in this process and to achieve the future:
  • Higher education
  • Work opportunities
  • Independent living

 

Presenter: Teresa Pena, Parent Educator and Outreach Coordinator for ECAC

Child care available with registration.
