About this event
Advancing positive social norms and transforming masculinity norms lies at the center of UN Women’s global work to overcome the patriarchal systems that create, embody, and perpetuate gender inequalities. In discussions with DANNER who advocates for the need to mobilize all sectors toward the goal of gender equality and to end violence against women, and BABA - Fonden for Socialt Ansvar who works to create a strong local community where volunteer fathers translate knowledge and experiences into concrete changes in their own and other fathers' lives, we aim to explore good practices, lessons learned and practical approaches to end violence against women through social norm change and transforming positive masculinities.
Program:
- 13:30 - 14:00 Arrival, registration and security check
- 14:00 – 14:25 Presentations by UN Women, DANNER and BABA
