Transforming Philadelphia’s Schoolyards

Design Guide Release | Panel Discussion | Resource Fair

Join the Philadelphia Water Department and the Community Design Collaborative for the release of Transforming Philadelphia’s Schoolyards, a new design guide presenting case studies, great ideas, and advice to support the greening of schoolyards in Philadelphia. We will celebrate the guide's release with a panel discussion featuring the leaders of three successful schoolyard makeovers, a green schoolyards resource fair, and opening remarks by William R. Hite. Jr., Superintendent of the School District of Philadelphia, and Howard Neukrug, Commissioner of the Philadelphia Water Department.

Reception & resource fair at 5:30pm, followed by program at 6:00pm.
