Transforming Neighborhoods: LEED for Neighborhood Development
Wednesday, March 6, 2013 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM (PST)
Join us for a presentation by architect/urban designer Karen Murray of the San Francisco firm Van Meter Williams Pollack, LLP. She will address the fundamentals of LEED for Neighborhood Development and how this system is transforming neighborhoods. Incorporating smart growth principles, LEED ND makes neighborhoods more beautiful, safer, healthier, economically vibrant and environmentally responsible.
Karen will speak on the Sunnydale HOPE SF Master Plan in San Francisco, CA, a LEED ND project that will reintegrate a socially, economically and physically disconnected community back into the greater neighborhood. This is an event not to be missed!
