Hosted by the Transforming Learning Collaborative (TLC), The Incubator is a yearlong cohort-based learning experience that enlists experienced educators from TLC schools as mentors to help teams of educators or school designers to bring their bold vision for learning to reality. In addition to working with mentors, Incubator teams have three in-person convenings (Fall, Winter, and Spring), during which they visit schools that are leading the way in next generation, real world learning and learning directly from other practitioners.

On February 5-6, the TLC Incubator heads to Pittsburgh, PA for a K-8 school re/design winter convening. On Tuesday, February 5, team members will gather at the Montour School District and will learn from local schools and districts how they have transformed learning across their classrooms to be more project-based and student-driven.

We have limited space for local K-8 educators to join us on Tuesday, February 5.

Attendees will hear from:

- Montour Middle School on how they used Artificial Intelligence as an engaging theme to drive interdisciplinary learning;

- Avonworth School District on their journey towards a Project-Based Learning approach across their schools

- Manchester Academic Charter School on their partnership with the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh and the development of their real-world learning lab
