Mindfulness is a powerful transformational practice which can enhance your experience of life as you move from unconscious autopilot to gentle, bare attention of the present moment and conscious choice making from the most powerful place: your essential being and inner knowing.


Learn the Skill - Get All The Benefits

In this 8-session Mindfulness meditation class, based on the popular Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) of Jon Kabat-Zinn, you will learn proven, scientifically substantiated methods for reducing stress, improving relationships, increasing intuition, managing pain, strengthening memory and open-hearted compassion, halting age-related brain decline.

Mindfulness awareness training creates a greater sense of well-being and high-resolution perception resulting from an increased awareness of inner experiences. It cultivates fine tuned interactions with each other and the world around us.

And, no, you don't need to sit cross legged! We do mindfulness sitting in chairs or lying down, even standing or walking! Yes, cushions are also available. All abilities welcome, and accomodations made as possible.




What You Will Learn

Your Course includes 7 weekly 1.5 hour group sessions + 1-day Retreat. Each week you will learn a new technique or aspect of mindfulness: basic mindfulness meditation

Establish A Mindfulness Practice

You will learn the best ways to set up a regular pracitce. Establishing a practice can be difficult to do on one's own. Group support is great motivation to help you along the way. Each session includes opportunity for questions and interactive experiential exercises and full group discussion. Lasting bonds with class members are often established. Practicing at home is an important part of the program. Home practice will help you to establish the benefits you get in class into a way of being, that, becaue of neuroplastricity, you then carry with you all the time.

Guided home practice mp3s are included for you to use at home. You also receive an extensive compilation of articles and instruction in a 78 page ebook.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

From North or South: 4 blocks from I-175 ramp. On-Street nearby parking free after 6 pm. Parking garages 1-block

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, but you will need proof of mobile ticket

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Yes, as long as you verify that the person attending is authorized.

Are there discounts or scholarships available?

Yes, Early Registration saves $45 of the regular price.
