Event description

Description

he Triangle Healthcare Executives' Forum of North Carolina (THEF) cordially invites you to our annual Transformational Care Summit on September 25th. This year's summit will feature the theme of 'Facing a Changing Physician Leadership Landscape' and will include four engaging panel discussions focused on:

  • Telemedicine in the Healthcare Delivery System
  • Medical Tourism: Globalization of Healthcare
  • Clinical Research as a Care Option for Patients
  • Transitioning from Clinician to Leader

As the healthcare landscape undergoes massive shifts, physicians are being asked to accept greater roles of leadership influence. Health systems, payors, and others are increasingly appointing physicians to the highest executive positions. This leadership is reaching the front lines of healthcare, as care delivery is adapting to new value-based models. Organizations are pioneering formal and informal leadership development and training pathways to meet these needs. We hope that you join us to engage with healthcare leadership across the industry and learn from peer experiences around these topics.

ACHE has approved 6 face-to-face credits for this event.

The Summit will be held at the UNC Rizzo Center (Magnolia room of Loudermilk Hall). The center has set aside a limited number of hotel rooms for guests of the event. For reservations, contact the front desk at 919.913.2098 and refer to the 'ACHE Courtesy Block.' Reservations must be made before August 27th.

A block of rooms is also reserved at the Courtyard Chapel Hill, one mile from the UNC Rizzo Center. Use this link to Book your group rate for Triangle Healthcare Executives Forum of NC. Reservations must be made by September 10th to guarantee the rate.
