Description

This Workshop

This workshop will help us drop deeper into our heart’s wisdom about how we can help others and ourselves face the challenges of dying. We will explore practices that will help us to transform our relationships to death and dying, enabling us to lead more peaceful lives. We will also explore ways of providing compassionate and skillful care to those who are at the end of life. Nathaniel’s experience as a hospice chaplain will offer us insights and skills, and guide our discussion about “this great matter of Life and Death.”

We will be creating a small community altar together so please bring an object that symbolizes to you feelings of being loved and cared for.

Materials for creating an Advance Directive will be available, as well as information about about the California End of Life Option Act.

Registration

$15 - $50

Registration, including teacher donation is being offered on a sliding scale. You must register before the workshop starts to secure your spot in the class.

Please consider your contribution as an opportunity to be generous to our teacher, who is preparing a meaningful learning experience for each student over the five sessions.
