Event Details

A society in which a sustainably built environment is the norm would represent a dramatic change in thinking and practice. Are you called to create this change? One that "sticks"? Emergent leadership offers an approach uniquely suited to this work and more effective than conventional models. This is an introductory workshop for industry, business, and community leaders, featuring long time green building advocates, leaders and authors, Kathleen O'Brien and Ann Edminster.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Identify the three elements comprising the system of Emergent Leadership.
  •  For each element, identify one key behavior that you can immediately apply in your role as sustainable building advocate.
  •  Give an example of how you will use the concepts of emergent leadership to transform your organization.
  • Explain how leading and learning go hand in hand.
