This is an introductory workshop for industry, business, and community leaders, featuring long time green building advocates, leaders and authors, Kathleen O'Brien and Ann Edminster.
About the SpeakersKathleen O’Brien, O'Brien & Company
Kathleen, LEED AP and CSBA, is a nationally recognized leader in the field of sustainability, working as a writer, educator, strategic planner, and project consultant for nearly 30 years. Her firm, O'Brien & Company, founded in 1991, continues to set the pace for innovation and service in all sectors of the built environment. She is the author of the Northwest Green Home Primer, a Cascadia Fellow, and Founder of the Emerge Leadership Project (www.emergeleadership.net). She lives on Bainbridge Island, WA.
Ann V. Edminster, Author
Ann is a long time green building expert consulting with design firms, builders, developers, public agencies, utilities, homeowners, and investors on high performance residential projects, including production, affordable multi-family, and custom single-family homes. She is the author of Energy Free: Homes for a Small Planet and lives in Pacifica, CA.
The East Dublin/Pleasanton BART station is walking distance from the venue.
