Transform Your Leadership Style
Mon, March 27, 2017, 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM MDT
Do you see yourself as a leader? What’s your authentic leadership style? What qualities do you need to lead transformational change? Find out with guidance from executive leadership coach Karen Semon.
Karen’s coaching philosophy starts with the idea that everyone can be a leader, whether you manage people or not. In her Sage Talk, she will offer inspirational examples and interactive, practical tools for developing leadership skills. She will also discuss some of the characteristics of transformational leaders, such as how they develop their vision and motivate people to join in a mission-driven culture.
Discovering the way you’re designed to lead is especially important. Karen observes that “Some people lead out of their structure and order. Some other people lead out of their innovation, their creativity. Leader, know thyself!”
Karen’s insight into organizational and human behavior developed in part from lessons learned on the job; she has expertise in retail, manufacturing, and high-tech markets, where she led teams in a variety of roles in marketing, IT, product management, and human resources.
