About this event
We will join together to learn and meditate in a welcoming and uplifting group setting. Each event in the series features a different meditation technique.
What Will I Learn?
This evening will be led by Ellen Patrick, a wise and experienced yoga teacher, as well as a mindfulness meditation guide. She will offer an exploration of the mindfulness meditation principles of RAIN. The acronym stands for a four-step process: Recognize, Allow, Investigate and Nurture. This practice will guide you to bringing awareness and compassion to your thoughts and feelings, especially those that tend to be difficult.
There will be a brief overview of RAIN and mindfulness techniques, some light physical movement and plenty of time for meditation and discussion.

The Zoom meeting room will open approximately 30 minutes before the class starts. Please join at least 15 minutes early to make sure we can address any questions you may have about Zoom and to give you time to settle in.
