Description

Transatlantic Refugee Resettlement Network (TRRN) - Round Table Conference

Refugee Resettlement, Integration and Health - what is needed for this growing challenge?

We will be gathering to share research and experience in refugee resettlement work and
to create a TRRN - a Transatlantic Network for refugee resettlement.

In light of the enormous and growing challenge the US, Germany and Europe now face with the mass movement of people from areas of conflict and insecurity, we would like to initiate a transatlantic dialog and network of support to benefit those who work in resettlement related work, as well as refugees/asylum seekers themselves and their receiving countries and communities.

You are invited to join us for this event which will include:

I. Presentations on Resettlement & Integration in Germany: Policy research and recommendations as well as Monitoring & Evaluation of Refugee Resettlement: a study of food security and health of refugees

II. Round Table discussion on Measuring the effectiveness of resettlement and integration and supporting refugees and their receiving communities for success

III. Formation of a steering committee and mission for TRRN - a Transatlantic Network of refugee resettlement professionals and researchers
