Event description

Description

Join Trans Lifeline for a fundraising event celebrating four years of resilience - our own, and that of our incredible community.

The last twelve months have been full of challenges, but through it all, we’re still here. We’re supporting trans people in moments of crisis; we’re offering material support to trans people before those moments of crisis come; we’re lifting up laws and policies that protect trans lives - and we think that’s more than enough reason to celebrate.

On the night of November 8th, we encourage folks to get fancy, come meet our extraordinary volunteers and staff, celebrate the resilience of our community, and raise funds to keep Trans Lifeline’s services available long into the future. Thanks to our sponsors at GitHub, we’ll be doing it all in a beautiful space with more than enough food and drinks to go around.

This is a ticketed fundraising event, and there are three ticket tiers to choose from. Please give what you are able - no one will be turned away for lack of funds.

Attendees can look forward to:

  • Guest Speakers

  • Music

  • Free Food

  • An Open Bar

  • A Whole Lotta Community Love

Access Notes:

  • The GitHub building in downtown San Francisco is wheelchair-accessible, with ADA compliant exits, common spaces, and bathrooms.

  • While we cannot guarantee a scent-free space, we encourage people to limit colognes, perfumes, and other scented products that may harm those with chemical sensitivities.

  • This is an all-ages event - those who are legally able to drink alcohol will be identified with a ribbon or stamp.

  • No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
