Questionnaire & survey design: Knowing the right questions to ask
Designing questionnaires is a deceptively difficult task. It can be challenging to collect the information you need, and ensure that your data is robust.
This session offers a step by step guide to creating high quality surveys. Key topics will be explored, such as writing high quality questions, selecting a sample of participants to work with, and ensuring good response rates. You will receive examples of high quality questionnaires to draw upon to help you develop your own work.
There will be opportunities for you to work on designing your own questions during the session
Who will benefit most?
This session is aimed at individuals and organisations who want to use surveys to collect data about the effectiveness of their programme.
The session will not assume that you have any prior knowledge of performing evaluation.
This training will also benefit you if you are considering submitting for Validation at Standards 1 or 2 on the Project Oracle Standards of Evidence.
Tuesday 24th October – 1.00pm-4.30pm
