Event description

Description

A workshop for teachers, parents and carers who support people with learning disabilities.

As part of the Erasmus+ European initiative eLearning Studios has partnered with organisations from across Europe who are experts in sexual education for people with learning disabilities to create a learning platform with tools, resources, e-learning and a training curriculum for teachers.

This workshop will provide the opportunity to test and try out a variety of freely accessible tools and approaches for providing education in sexual health for people with learning disabilities.

Hosted in collaboration with National Star, an organisation that works with people with disabilities and their supporters to challenge stereotypes, raise aspirations and change attitudes, this 2 hour workshop provides an opportunity to discuss and try out different approaches for teaching sexual health to people with learning disabilities.
