This course is designed to allow for scaling of the insights and findings shared in the Terrorist Use of the Internet and Mitigation Strategies basic training course and will provide future trainers with the skills necessary to deliver training on terrorist use of the internet. In addition to familiarization with the course material, students will be provided training in open-source intelligence research and analysis methods.

Training will be conducted virtually over a two-day period with instruction occurring from 8am to 12pm each day.

The Bay Area UASI’s Targeted Violence and Terrorism Prevention (TVTP) program strengthens and supports prevention practitioners by implementing and replicating grant funded evidence-based solutions that prevent acts of targeted violence and mitigate radicalization and domestic extremism. Our projects and programs proactively support privacy protections, civil rights and civil liberties, and First Amendment protected rights.

This training is funded by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Center for Prevention Programs and Partnerships.
