Description

International Women’s Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. Join the Carter Library and Young Government Leaders - Atlanta as we host a discussion regarding gender parity in government with trailblazing women who are top public servants. With women hovering around a third of senior leadership positions across federal, state, and local government, this conversation is important more now than ever.

Panelists:

- Margaret Cawood, Deputy Commissioner, Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice

- Dr. Meredith Evans, Director, Carter Presidential Library

- Honorable Judge Jessy Lall, Magistrate Judge, Fulton County, Georgia

- Anne Torres, Director of Communications, City of Atlanta
