TRADITIONAL SOAP MAKING
Thu, March 23, 2017, 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM PDT
Traditional Soap-Making is led by Megan Bre Camp of Summer Sequoia. Summer Sequoia is an artisan line of organic tallow based products handcrafted in Oakland, California. Summer Sequoia is actively reviving the nourishing traditions of using local grass-fed and pasture raised animal fat to effectively moisturize and soothe skin irritations. In this Traditional Soap-Making class we will be using organic tallow, organic olive oil, dried herbs and essential oils to create cold-processed soaps made safely in the traditional technique with lye. These soaps will take 4-6 weeks to cure before home use.
