About this event
Come "virtually" to the wintry Bakehouse in Vermont this holiday season and join us from the warmth of your home for a demo and bake-along class devoted to the traditions of European holiday Plätzchen - the special, delicate cookies that fill every holiday plate in Europe.
Thomas and Heike will also show you how to make traditional gift boxes to give to loved ones with these sweet specialties.
We end the class with an introduction to the tradition of Advents-Kaffeetrinken (the German coffee & tea ceremony with baked goods, typically celebrated during the holiday season) and a Q&A where you can ask all about the traditions, the recipes and techniques.
The class is online via zoom and you can bake along some recipes during class - or just watch the demos and be inspired for your holiday table. All recipes will be available before the class.
