Come out to the farm on Saturday, February 25th for a culinary experience to be remembered. Whole beef sides, legs of lamb, duck and chicken will be slow grilled for hours Argentinian style over hot coals by nationally recognized chef and award winning author Dan Huntley. Huntley specializes in bringing Southern and global food traditions such as pig pickings, oyster roasts, catfish frys, and Lowcountry shrimp boils to crowds around the region.
Presenting the wine selected for the evening is Andrew Miller, originally from Salisbury, NC, moved to Argentina as a Rotary Ambassadorial scholar to continue his studies at the University of Buenos Aires. Andrew represents the Ecosur Group, LLC which is family owned and operated. Currently, it imports wine from Argentina, Australia, Chile, France, Germany, New Zealand, Portugal and Spain, although Argentina remains a special emphasis within the portfolio. The belief that business should be mutually beneficial for all parties involved guides its approach and commercial strategy. Andrew and his team strive to work with producers that are responsible ecologically and socially without losing sight of the key components of economic sustainability that ensure the long-term viability of his partners.
