Description

A hands-on workshop/ demo on ways to wear a traditional Indian sari, complemented with your own contemporary fashion blouse creation. The workshop will be led by artist and fashion researcher Daria Dorosh and stylist and founder of The Whole 6 Yards, Jayashree Jaidev.

Do bring along the following: 1. Any fitted top or shirt you are willing to cut and appropriate into a blouse 2. Scrap fabric and any other embellishments such as trims, ribbons, buttons, beads. 3. Scissors , needle and thread, and pins.

Participation is open to anyone 18yrs and up. Please register online by Sep 20th as space is limited. The first twenty people who register will be in.
