Event description

Description

The California Agriculture Museum is pleased to present our 5th annual Tractors & Brews.

This is an event that you can’t miss. The party begins on October 18th at 6pm with a ceremonial engine roar.

The museum gallery will be transformed into a traditional style watering hole filled with country rhythm provided by a Stone’s Throw. Our guests will roam the aisles of the museum sampling tasty bites and sips from some of the finest local vendors in our region as they admire one of the rarest and most unique tractor collections in the world. As for vendors, Woodland favorite, Blue Note Brewing Company is just one of many brews we’ll pour, and Matchbook Wines will be here to serve up a variety of their award winning wines as well.

This is the perfect time to explore the museum if you haven’t yet had the chance to do so.

Since 1997, the California Agriculture Museum has become home to the nation’s most unique collection of tractors and agricultural artifacts – telling the history of farm-to-fork. The museum is dedicated to enhancing the understanding and appreciation of California’s rich cultural heritage through the presentation of its collection and rotating exhibits. The core collection was established by Fred C. Heidrick Senior and consists of over 200 pieces of rare tractors, harvesters, and other artifacts that tell the California story.

The museum values protecting and preserving the collection while educating people of all ages. We have expanded educational opportunities that highlight the spirit of cooperation and entrepreneurism that helped fuel the sciences, mechanization, and experimentation that had its beginnings from the mission movement in the 1700s and from early California pioneers in the 1800s. California was a new territory that encouraged immigrant populations from across the globe to work together and learn from each other to develop values, survival strategies, and innovation that would eventually feed the world and become a culture of its own.

Over the last 22 years, the California Agriculture Museum has become a place to gather for families and businesses to honor their rich cultural heritage. Families from all walks of life bring their community together to celebrate and honor milestones in life – weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, memorials – and reenact vibrant stories that happened down on the farmstead. Visitors are offered a glimpse of cultural tradition and history that they would only see in the movies. With three unique spaces to choose from the museum and event center is a cultural destination ideal for your next business meeting, festival, or family event.

This is sure to be our biggest and best Tractors & Brews event to date and we want all of you to be a part of it. Tractors & Brews is Friday, October 18th from 6pm to 9pm at the California Agriculture Museum at 1958 Hays Lane, Woodland, California. Event proceeds benefit the museum while congratulating makers of myth and their success in digging in. Tickets are on sale now, just $25, online at www.CaliforniaAgMusuem.org, in house, or by phone. This is a 21 and up event.
