You are invited: Impact Hub Los Angeles and Investing in Place host their first "Traction-on-Traction" Appreciation Party for our partners.
Join us for a "wheely" good time!
Whether you walk, bike, roll, drive, ride-share, or take public transit, we all have special ways to get to where we need to go — whether it's to the store, to work, to our homes, or to places to play.
2016 is a big year for transportation — we finished the downtown to Santa Monica train, Downtown LA's bike share will unveil on July 7, and in November, we may have a chance to vote on a $120 billion ballot measure to improve our regional transportation system. That might mean more bike lanes, improved sidewalks and crosswalks, new and improved trains, and better buses.
Join us for drinks, BINGO!, and "spirited" discourse on how to make this year's potential transportation ballot measure a game-changer. Whether you're an urbanist, Impact Hub community member, biking or walking advocate, a social change-maker, student, a business owner, or Angeleno, all are invited.
Free. Drinks and refreshments provided. Advanced tickets are required — please register today!
Co-hosts:
- Ani Okkasian, Managing Director/Impact Hub LA
- Jessica Meaney, Managing Director/Investing in Place
- John Guevarra, Associate/Investing in Place

FAQs
May I bring a guest?
Sure! But please have them register. We need an accurate count of people to ensure we have enough refreshments.
I'm not a transportation, urban planning, public policy, or political professional. Can I still attend?
OF COURSE! We are an inclusive group... and we believe the most salient ideas are generated, often spontaneously, by people of all perspectives, lifestyles, and backgrounds. Come one, come all.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Adjacent lot and street parking are available. We are down the street from the Civic Center stop off the Metro Red Line and Union Station off the Metro Gold Line. Bicycle parking available. Dash A accessible.
Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?
Please contact Ani Okkasian ani@impacthubla.com and John Guevarra john@investinginplace.org
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, but please double check you are registered prior to attending the event.
