The Toy Museum of NY will be presenting a new film festival, “The Toy Film Festival”. In February 2015, the opening event will take place at the Toy Museum of NY and possibly screened as well in February at the American International Toy Fair held at the Jacob Javits Convention Center.
We are seeking original works of shorts films having to do with toys. The films including opening and credits cannot be longer than 5 minutes. Award will be given out for to the 1st place winner and judged by our viewing audience. Your entry materials will not be returned and you will be contacted by The Toy Museum of NY only if your film is selected for the festival. We will post the winning films names on our website at www.toymuseumny.org in February, 2015. In the event that your film is selected, you must make arrangements to deliver your film to The Toy Museum of NY by electronic file transfer or on a storage device such as a thumb drive or DVD. We accept a HD H.264 QuickTime File. Please email the Museum directly if you have any questions, email@example.com. The judges include members of the Toy Museum Staff and industry executives.
To register your entry an entry fee is required for each film that you submit. Entry fees are non-refundable. Registration is easy!! You may register and pay fees by credit card on this site. Or you can send a money order or personal check to the Toy Museum. Personal checks must be drawn from a US bank only. Money orders and checks should be made payable to "The Toy Museum of NY".

The Toy Museum of NY, established in 1999, is a certified 501(c)3 non-profit educational 'traveling museum' featuring touring exhibitions and educational programs. The mission is to educate the public on the importance of dolls and toys in our culture, history and art. Over 15,000 school children, parents and teachers annually enjoy the Museum's successful theatre performance, The History of Toys and their Distance Learning Program, enabling schools and senior centers from around the country to learn about toys through a video conferencing presentation.
