This film class is fun for all ages and skill levels, we will demonstrate how to use a variety of plastic film cameras to produce long exposures, double exposures, colorful and creative images!
Sunday, June 25th from 1pm to 4pm will include a presentation of images and techniques as well as hands on shooting. Though simple to use, these toy film cameras can create amazing results! However there are some tricks to the trade to be aware of.
Techniques we will cover include understanding protecting your film, light leaks & color shifts, how to control double exposures, using bulb mode for long exposures.
We will load our cameras as a class and venture South Lake Union streets making our way to the water.
Students should have their own toy film cameras like a Holga, Diana, Sprocket Rocket, etc. However we do have a handful of cameras that can be loaned to you during the course, but you must reserve them on a first come, first served basis.
Each student will receive 3 rolls of film for thier camera. At the time of making your reservation, make sure we know what you are shooting with so we can provide the right sized film for you!
