Event description

Description

The founder of The Ohio Cooperative will begin a series of meetings to listen to our community, and answer questions to build a culture of transparency and inclusiveness.

Key questions answered:

How to build an cooperative entrepreneurial ecosystem?

A strong worker cooperative entrepreneurial ecosystem is needed to combat poor labor force participation and the lack of direct equity ownership for workers.

What does direct equity participation mean?

Workers own the cooperative together. At the end of each year, worker-owners are paid patronage per cooperative share owned after expenses distributed at 100% of net profit.

What are the benefits of being a worker-owner?

All decision making is administered through a democratic process where each worker-owner has a vote in how the cooperative is operated.
