Monday, April 21, 2014 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM (EDT)
Come to this FREE open forum with a panel of teen, parent and treatment representatives to discuss issues with alcohol and drugs that youth in our community face each day.
Following the Town Hall forum will be a 30 minute workshop for parents and caregivers. Refreshments will be provided.
Orange Partnership for Alcohol and Drug Free Youth and Mothers Against Drunk Driving of NC want to emPOWER all parents and caregivers with the tools to help them start this potentially lifesaving conversation. Attendees will receive MADD’s Power of Parents™ handbook (proven based on research to reduce underage drinking by up to 30%).
PowerTalk 21 is the national day set aside for parents to talk with their kids about alcohol and the risks of underage drinking.
