Towards an Inclusive Ontario – OPS Policy on Gender and Sex Designation on...
Wed, October 26, 2016, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM EDT
On June 29, 2016, the Honourable Marie-France Lalonde, Minister of Government and Consumer Services, announced that the Ontario government was changing the way it displays sex and gender information on health cards and driver's licences to ensure the fair, ethical and equitable treatment of people with trans and non-binary gender identity. PIL is hosting a half-day workshop for MGCS (ServiceOntario) to provide an opportunity for the OPS policy community to provide feedback on Government’s proposed OPS wide policy developed through evidence obtained from a complex and unique consultation – online and through expert panels throughout the province.
Due to the format of the workshop, tele/web-conferencing will not be available.
