Event description

Description

There has been an increasing number of calls to infuse clinical work not just with multicultural but also social justice values so that the mental health effects of systematic oppression can be addressed ahead of their emergence. But what would a social justice-oriented practice look like? And should social justice competencies be integrated into clinical psychology training?

Join us on November 30th for a roundtable-discussion-dinner party to explore the relationship between social justice and clinical work.

We will be adopting a long table format for the discussion, a democratic, non-hierarchical method of participation that blurs the boundaries between panelists and audience members. All participants will have the opportunity to join the head table and have their say. Spaces are limited so please RSVP to reserve your seat and to send us your questions in advance.
